The Hong Kong Productivity Council is participating in ReThink HK 2025, held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, spotlighting innovative green technologies designed to advance sustainable development across diverse industries.
This year’s expo focuses on solutions addressing pressing environmental issues such as food waste management, lithium battery recycling, carbon emissions reduction, and supporting Hong Kong’s green transformation.
HKPC is presenting a suite of cutting-edge applications and business solutions related to ESG reporting, sustainability frameworks, and carbon neutrality targets.
Dr. Keith Choy, General Manager of HKPC’s Green Living and Innovation Division, restated the organisation’s role in supporting Hong Kong’s commitment to carbon neutrality by 2050.
HKPC’s efforts encompass providing advanced technologies, consultancy in carbon management, and funding to help businesses meet sustainable development goals.
Highlighted at the event are smart food waste collection robotics, next-generation food waste pretreatment systems, hydrogen fuel innovations tailored for zero-carbon mobility, and ‘ESG One’, a platform assisting SMEs in ESG assessment and strategic planning.
Beyond exhibitions, HKPC and its Centre of Advanced Power and Autonomous Systems lead seminars on leveraging emerging green technologies to meet carbon reduction targets.
The organisation also co-hosts the ReThink HK Mainland Business Delegation, facilitating collaboration among over 20 business leaders and sustainability professionals from Mainland China.
ReThink HK remains Hong Kong’s flagship sustainability event that promotes cross-sector cooperation, showcasing more than 300 innovative solutions and fostering dialogue on smart city developments, climate change mitigation, and sustainable business practices.
