The 2025 C&I Energy+Storage Summit in Zambia is positioning itself as a vital platform where commercial and industrial (C&I) energy professionals acquire hands-on expertise to drive clean energy adoption across the region.

Over two days, the summit offers expert-led masterclasses addressing critical issues such as power purchase agreements (PPAs), battery energy storage integration, and understanding Zambia’s tariff structures.

Participants will engage with technical experts, regulators, and market leaders from both Zambia and across Africa. Key sessions include decoding the contractual and financial frameworks of corporate PPAs, mastering battery storage management, addressing grid capacity challenges under Zambia’s Open Access policy, and ensuring solar PV safety and asset longevity.

The event features influential speakers from the Energy Regulation Board, Zambia Development Agency, Africa GreenCo, and prominent companies like Kenya Power and ENGIE Energy Access.

Supported by sponsors such as EnerJ and Vertiv, and partnered with organizations including the Pan-African Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Zambian Association of Manufacturers, the summit promotes sustainable energy solutions aligned with Zambia’s industrial growth.

Additionally, a webinar on August 13 will spotlight energy infrastructure investment trends within sub-Saharan Africa’s mining sector, emphasizing sustainable and bankable energy strategies. This summit and its associated activities underscore Zambia’s commitment to accelerating energy resilience and cleaner industrial development.
